As a counsellor, my goal is to support you to live a happier, wholesome life. We each have an enormous amount of depth and wisdom to express in life and to bring to others - sometimes we just lose sight of this in the complexities of life.
I support you to work through the hurts, struggles, pain and complexities that get in the way of living the fullness of you, so that you can live a rich and vibrant life.
What Is Counselling?
Counselling is a form of non-judgemental, confidential ‘talk therapy’ where you, or you and your partner, can talk about the issues that you are facing in your life.
It is an opportunity to be heard and understood, and in the process discover more about yourself and find settlement and resolve.
We use a range of evidence-based techniques and therapies including Person-Centred therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Strength Based Counselling, Mindfulness, in addition to relaxation strategies, meditation and more.
Over the past 15 years I have undertaken various studies in counselling, as well as co-owned and managed a counselling college for 7 of those years. In addition to this, I have sourced counselling to support myself through various life challenges. As such, I have a deep respect for this profession and the support that it can provide to people.
I bring a depth, wisdom and care to my counselling practice that supports client to feel safe and nurtured and able to work through their presenting issues.

What to expect in your session:
Prior to your first session you will be required to fill out a client intake sheet.
In your first session with me I will gather any further background information that I feel will support the counselling process. After this, the floor is yours and I will support you to express what is there for you by asking questions, clarifying meaning, reflecting back information and offering support so that you can gain awareness and see a clear path forward.
Sessions are around 50 Minutes in length.
